Top 4 organizational social media to dos
Happy New Year - I know I am a little late - but it is still the first week of the New Year !
The new year is a great time to get organized - out with the old - in with the new. It is also a time for reflection.
These are four very easy steps you can take to make 2015 and your social media campaign a successful one. You could actually refer to this list on a quarterly basis - you do not have to wait for a year to look at your strategies.
1. Reflect on your year - what were your successes, what improvements could you make in your social media plan and lastly, what did you do wrong - how are you going to prevent that from happening again.
2. Set Goals for 2015. Do yourself a favor and make your goals achievable.
3. Consistency is one of the keys to social media. Your brand - company should be sending a consistent message across all social media channels. You want to visit your social media profiles once in a while and revamp them - keep it fresh - things change - your profiles should resonate these changes.
4. You do not need to be on all social media channels. Determine which social media channels work for you and be consistent and fabulous on these channels. Sidebar - I am a firm believer of securing your name on the major social media channels - you never where the marketing trends will take you. But again - do not try to be everywhere - that is not productive and a waste of your valuable time.
Remember social media is social which translates to - it should be fun for you. If it is not - you might want to consider hiring someone to manage your social media for you. Fun, fun, fun.
