OFA Students break Guinness Book of World Records longest Wiffleball Game

I absolutely love living in my small town with its amazing community. This community supports its members in good times and bad times. Everyone does know your name (good for me - bad for my two boys). Good deeds are numerous and never cease to amaze me. And this is also a fun community !

On Wednesday, June 23rd at noon a bunch of determined, talented and wonderful OFA (and one  CV) students decided to attempt to break the Guinness Book record of the longest wiffleball game. on Thursday, June 24th they broke the record !!

This game was played at Stephens field in Apalachin, NY with night time lighting provided by the Apalachin Fire Department. Ice Cream Works of Owego drove their ice cream truck up to give the players sno cones and ice pops. And finally, Whitetails Restaurant of Little Meadows, PA ( a few miles up the road) fed the players dinners.

It is so heartwarming to see a community come together for a such fun and wonderful event.

Congratulations to all the players who played in this Guinness Book Record Breaking Game - I am very proud of you and our community.

Here is the Owego Pennysaver article that goes into a bit more depth about the actual game.
